Welcome to Stay Gold, the only approved fanlisting for S.E. Hinton's wonderful novel, The Outsiders.
The Outsiders is probably my all time favourite book. I remember the first time I read it, in Grade 6, we had to do a two-paged book report and ended up rambling on for almost ten pages. Between the characters and the story, I feel this novel takes me into an entirely different world, full of hope, dreams and reality too. I feel in love with the characters and went out the next day and purchased the rest of S.E. Hinton's books, still one of my favourite authors to this day.
