I absolutely adored Miss Piggy as a child and I still do to this day. I know she is only a character, a puppet, but I like her personality and the fact that she's a good role model for growing children, especially girls. She's beautiful, fun and fashionable... but more importantly, she's confident, strong and bold. I think those three things are very important for a girl to have, growing up and as an adult. Sure, she's a bit too hung up on Kermit, but at least that shows she's caring and loving. It was also funny that she always wore the pants in the relationship, again showing she is a strong and confident female. She always speaks up about the way she feels, even if others find it obnoxious or strange. I like the fact that she's really fun and we get to see her in tons of different outfits and accessories all the time; the creators have done a good and thorough job when it comes to her costumes and fashion statements. She's fun to watch and look at because of that. I do not believe there is any other puppet, past or present, that has had such an extensive clothing and accessory wardrobe! Also, the whole premise that she is a larger female and yet still completely confident in who she is and her beauty is amazing.
