Home Welcome to Just Jack, the only approved fanlisting for wonderfully adorable and witty Jack McFarland of the hit comedy series, Will & Grace.I adore Jack. I completely adore him. He may be society's stereotypical view of a gay man but I feel he is written that way for a reason. He's kind of there to parallel homophobia because Jack will make comments about straight people that seem completely ridiculous to heterosexuals... but that's the point. It's just as ridiculous as when homophobes make similar comments about homosexuals. "What you two do behind closed doors is your own business, but flaunting that lifestyle in front of us is just plain gross," Jack says of Grace and Nathan kissing. For this reason I think Jack is a very important character on televison. Also, Jack will say things like, "If God intended man and woman to be together, he would have given them both penises." This seems silly to most people but to Jack, it makes perfect sense. I love the fact that he's so unrealistic and imaginative in his thinking. It's refreshing to see someone thinking outside the box. Although Jack can be obnoxious, it's the kind of obnoxious you wouldn't mind having around. He borders the line of annoyance but never really crosses it. At least not for me. His interaction with the other characters is fabulous too. His constant pokes at Will and Grace, his compatibility with Karen and Rosario. It's fascinating to watch. Jack definitely falls into that category of Top 5 favourite characters of all time.
